The Pastille chair, which can be used indoor and out, is a novel interpretation of the rocking chair. With its bold organic form, the chair exemplifies the sophisticated approach of many Scandinavian designers to synthetic materials.
First produced by Asko, the squashed pastille shape idea was inspired by a sweet. It is incredibly comfortable as the shape of the chair moulds to the body - a robust and versatile chair for the living room, bedroom, office or garden!
Manufactured from tough fibreglass, the Pastille chair is versatile and easily washable.
Fibreglass is a very robust and malleable material which allows the designer to incorporate curves and twists. Our lacquered paint finish is of a very high standard and there is no ‘thinning’ on the curves or corners.
