The Screw Table inspired by Eero Aarnio

The Screw Table was originally a visual joke – the table looks like it has been driven halfway into the ground!

Eero Aarnio has always studied his surroundings, nature, buildings, objects – here he distorts the scale of an everyday item, the spiral part becomes a pedestal and the screw head emerges as the table top.

Manufactured from tough fibreglass, this version of the low Screw Table is versatile and easily washable.

The body of the table is hand made from fibreglass, then given 3 coats of acrylic paint and finally lacquered to a gloss finish.
